Many robotics and control interfaces for education need a selection of input and output options

This control interface is optimised for robotics applications using a variety of microcontroller devices.

The system has the following features:

• 2 bidirectional motor outputs with direction states shown on two colour LEDS
• 2 light outputs with LED indicators
• 2 switch inputs with LED status
• 2 sensor channels
• Plug power supply
• Separate power supply for light outputs can run up to 24V - ideal for connection to pneumatics solenoids
• Reset switch
• Expansion port bringing out power, ground and selection of microcontroller lines
• Serial port connection with simple resistor drivers - operational on Microchip and Atmel controllers
• Uses 18 pin Microchip controllers, PICAXE 18X from Revolution Education, ATMEL Tiny26 , MEGA 8f rom Atmel,
• Industrial screw terminals based on Phoenix connectors
• Integrates with all Intellecta Mechatronics models
